Bali is an Indonesian island located at the westernmost of the Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. Bali's natural attractions include miles of sandy beaches (many are well-known amongst surfers), picturesque rice terraces, active volcanoes over 3,000 meters high, sacred caves, and lush tropical forests full of exotic wildlife, but mostly the beautiful surf that you get here. tourists can experience Bali on many different excursions and guided tours by coach, private car or rented bikes, by boat or by air plane: one can see Bali's beaches and rice terraces, the famous Besakih Temple on the slopes of holy Mount Agung, Lake Batur and its active volcano, Ubud, Legian, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and the temples of Tanah Lot and Ulu Watu. kuta is the place to be for surfing as well as nightlife. Being an adventure sports photographer has got me there a number of times.
